THE GLORY OF KING EDWARD

THE GLORY OF KING EDWARD

With a clap of thunder, our hearts all flutter,
Rejoicing in memories so dear,
A rainbow appears,
The moment is here.

Oh! Do you hear the tigers roar?
Thundering from the tigers’ jaws,
Oh! Do you see our pride aglow?
The Tigers’ saga now unfolds.

In the eighteen hundreds, begin our story,
With greatness its destiny
Standing out in every field,
King Edward’s we salute thee.

But don’t be fooled and don’t be stunned,
In this world there’s no free lunch,
The harvest we reap tastes so sweet,
We broke our backs sowing the seeds.

**For glory did not come easy,
It certainly did not come free…

Chorus
Countless mountains we’ve climbed,
Countless oceans we have crossed,
Countless storms we have weathered,
Countless hardships we’ve endured.

To get to where we are,
And be always above par,
Let us fly, let us soar,
And be greater than before.
